Emmett was born
in Hungary on February 13, 2002. He came to us by way of a breeder in Illinois who co-owns Berners in Hungary and imports
some of their puppies. Emmett is registered with AKC and FCI, and is OFA certified for Hips and Elbows, rated fair and normal,
respectively. He has had his eyes cerfed and is clear in that area and has DNA on file with the AKC.
Emmett has
been shown in conformation and has three wins with four points towards his AKC championship. Emmett has a novice
draft dog title and loves to give cart rides for kids.
Emmett is a Canine Good Citizen and has been a certified
therapy dog. He loves to visit children at school and daycare and seniors in nursing homes. He loves to ride in the Truck
or Tahoe and enjoys going to auctions where he can mingle with people and get lots of attention.
Emmett weighs
110 pounds. He is the proud Papa of nine litters. Emmett has marked most of his puppies with a white tip on the tail,
four white feet and many with a swiss kiss on the neck. He has puppies in eight states in the US. He is a great
grandpa and a great great grandpa.
Emmett's temperament is that of an extrovert. He loves people, young and old,
and he is very gentle with children and small animals. He has the run of the yard and house where he is in charge. He has
a compulsion to keep our chickens in their pen using his natural herding instincts. His favorite thing is to lay around and
be groomed, loved and touched.
